Rectangular Bluing Tray

The bluing tray set is working a treat for bluing various clock parts, and you may recall from the video, that I mentioned at some time in the future I would need to make a longer tray to accommodate long thin parts like clock hands and clicksprings etc.

Well that time has arrived!

As for the previous elements of the set, the rectangular tray is designed to screw onto the common handle, and sit comfortably on the bench with 2 brass feet. It has enough length to be able to blue the longest clock hands I will be dealing with in the clockmaking projects, and it will also be suitable for some of the more unusual shapes from other toolmaking projects.
