Reconstructing The Antikythera Mechanism

This video series documents a reconstruction of The Antikythera Mechanism in its most authentic form to date, with the intention of establishing the precise machining tools, techniques and technology used to create it.

The main build series can be found here.

There is also a companion series called "Antikythera Fragments" that documents some of the experimental archaeology attempts to explain a lot of the metal working techniques implied in the mechanism.
